  • Laptop cart delivery, & laptop maintenance
  • Schedule repairs with AV vendor
  • Provide training on equipment & software use
  • Doctoring session support, including setup & support for specific Doctoring recordings
  • Liaison between vendor & users regarding specialized client/server systems
  • Event support in HSEB
  • Hardware support for HSEB digital signage
  • Assistance with Simulation Center scenarios

Campus Scheduling(UA COM‐P & NAU)

  • Academic scheduling & coordination
  • Administrative scheduling
  • Resource scheduling (laptops, video conference, microphones, conference phones, etc.)
  • Maintenance & troubleshooting of scheduling system
  • Policy development & maintenance
  • Beta test new versions/upgrades & configure/re-configure as necessary
  • PBC liaison between vendor, University Registrar’s office and PBC occupants
  • Provide training & support to campus users
  • Dashboards & space utilization reports
  • Serve on Astra Client Advisory Board

Infrastructure(UA, NAU, & ASU)

  • Network services, both wired & wireless.
  • Banner & UA personnel & access to appropriate network resources
  • Port configuration, & troubleshooting
  • UITS Network Field Tech
  • VLANs, Firewall settings
  • Telcom phone support, changes, purchases, & troubleshooting
  • New construction/renovation liaison between UA Planning & Construction, AV vendor, UITS network design & PBC occupants
  • Review construction drawings to ensure power, data, & AV requirements are met

Research Support(UA COM‐P)

  • Support for general use & high-end laboratory computers
  • Software installation & configuration
  • Liaison between researcher & vendor regarding computer, security & network requirements & configurations
  • Administer & configure shared storage for researchers & their labs

Information Security(UA COM‐P)

  • Address computer system & compromised NetID incidents (both COM‐P & NAU)
  • Security Awareness Training
  • HIPAA Compliance – conduct risk analysis, develop & document policies, & risk management
  • Security risk assessment, audit review & response
  • NetID+ (UA Two‐Factor Authentication)
  • Encryption & secure data transfer
